As we continue to expand, we are looking for a new advisor to join our team, specifically someone who shares our values of a customer first approach. In addition to that, as we continue to see an increased demand for our services, we need someone who is highly motivated, has a good head on their shoulders, with excellent interpersonal skills and is both a team player and able to work independently, when required.

As a Mortgage and Protection Advisor you will be responsible with helping customers find the right mortgage and protection for them based on their requirements and situation. Unlike other mortgage advisors we work with our clients throughout the entire process from first contact all the way through to completion of the mortgage. Thus, we need an advisor who is happy to put in the work and work with multiple stakeholders to ensure the mortgage reaches completion in as an expedient manner as possible.

Working with a diverse range of cliental and stakeholders, good interpersonal skills and being able to keep up to the date with current market events and legislation is a requirement for the role.

In return for your work and experience, we will provide you with new leads, as well as the autonomy to pursue your own lead as well. In addition to your own work, we may also request your assistance in assisting other advisors with complex cases and vice versa, the director and advisor will also be there to provide assistance and guidance when required. With additional support coming from our case manager and compliance team.


  • Providing accurate mortgage and protection advice to clients that complies with industry standards and places the clients needs above everything else Identifying the most suitable loans and insurances for clients

  • Assisting clients throughout the entire mortgage process and working with the lenders, solicitors, estate agents and other stakeholder to ensure that all parties are informed and kept in the loop

  • Ensuring acceptance terms and mortgage offers are received as promptly as possible and checking these against the application/illustration.

  • Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and GDPR regulations Assisting other advisors from time to time on more complex cases Managing your workload and ensuring deadlines are met

  • Working with Case manager to ensure new cases are entered correctly and that all your cases remain up to date

  • Working with the case manager to ensure all electronic filing of client correspondence and all other relevant documentation are processed correctly

  • Dealing with correspondence and producing standard letters of advice Seeking out new business opportunities

  • Meeting and greeting customers

  • Responding to incoming emails and telephone queries

Skills and competencies

  • An up-to-date knowledge or mortgage products, programmes, and procedures, with a clear understanding of the mortgage underwriting process Good with Figures

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with strong understanding of what makes a good customer service combined with good sales skills

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple demands on time and resource

  • A keen eye for detail and ability to retain information, while handling multiple cases

  • Highly motivated able to show initiative as well as operate effectively while under pressure

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well independently when required

  • Strong IT skills including experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office

  • A high level of written and spoken English with strong grasp of grammar and spelling


  • 3 years’ experience including experience in both mortgage and protection

  • CAS status achieved

  • Mortgage qualifications – must be fully CeMAP qualified or the equivalent Demonstrable industry experience

  • Excellent general knowledge of life and mortgage related products and legislation

  • Experience in establishing and following processes and procedures Experience of working with a CRM system essential

  • Previous experience of Revolution is an advantage but not essential, training will be given Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and associated software


Looking for fulltime positions but open to negotiation


Very achievable OTE £75,000 – £100,000 per year based on full time. This role has the ability of uncapped earnings.
